Although more snow than we've had in a while this isn't that much snow. In a normal winter we'll receive just a little over 40 inches of snow (or 106.68cm) while Duluth and much of the North Shore along Lake Superior averages over twice that. In our most recent snowfall areas of Duluth had drifts in excess of 15 feet (about 14.6 meters)deep.
