The Middle Fork of the Crow River in New London, Minnesota. It's possible to canoe down this river all the way to the Mississippi River and the Gulf of Mexico at New Orleans. After the River meets up with the North Fork near Lake Koronis it becomes part of a state canoe route all the way to the Mississippi River near the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/canoeing/northforkcrowriver/index.html

Once New London's Mill Pond Dam is replaced work is expected to extend the official canoe route to New London.
