I would say this pic is incorrectly described. This is more like likely a diesel engine repair shop and not a motorcycle body shop. That is a truck diesel engine piston he is repairing a broken top edge, normally a broken piston like this would be replaced. Behind his partner are steel cylinder liners that fit into a large diesel engine that the piston goes up and down inside of.
