This photograph was born at the end of a longer sunday afternoon session where I concentrated more on the wider fields round me.
Walking back home I noticed the old tools lying against both trees. I decided to accentuate this symmetrical subject by putting myself almost in the middle. The long shadows strengthen the feeling of depth.
(Nice detail: the shadows of the trees behind me fall on the trees in front of me and produce an even nicer introduction frame to the picture!)
