This photo was probably taken some time around the mid to late 1930s.
The boat is some kind of very small punt, but it's kind of hilarious looking.
It almost looks like it's made out of some old doors or packing crates.
This photo also has an interesting quality about it.. the way the light is shining
on Bob (he's on the right and Jim is on the left. It's sort of theatrical.
Looks like they were doing a Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn kind of thing.
