Living up to its name, this tiny snow crocus survived the 6-7 inches we got yesterday. It was growing alongside a neighbor's driveway. When he shoveled, it was close enough to the edge to make it into the clear. The bud was closing the whole time I was trying to shoot it. I'll have to go earlier next time. Kneeling on the driveway in running water from a downspout was interesting.
