In my limited experience, an hour or two on a sight-seeing bus when first arriving on
a 'City break' pays dividends. Not for the endless feed of facts and trivia but to get
one's bearings and save alot of wasted time when finding your way around after that.

And Sydney is such a fine city that the bus tour was very interesting anyway.
