Though I did alter the image, obviously. The patch of golden light on the ground around the tree was real, while the rest of the field in the background was in shadow, behind the coulds. I waited for about 90 minutes for this to happen. I could tell from the fast moving cloud patterns that it might, if I waited long enough.
