February 17, 2007 - Posing Bluejay

Cold again this morning, with lows around 10 above zero. Supposed to get into the mid 20's today and, as you can see from the photo, we're getting some snow. I've been trying to get a good shot of the blue jays for a little while now, but they are fairly elusive. But this one came in and posed for me.

Great capture, I also love the snow effect along with the depth of field.

Very nice shot, I like the effect of the snow! I had one around yesterday but the camera wasn't close enough. -BJ V.

Lovely image Rich, but this Bluejay is looking a little thin to me!

Great capture of this pretty bluejay. He doesn't look like the weather is bothering him a bit.

Sweet moment you caught. They are shy, put out some peanuts in the shell...they'll love you for that.:-)
