Driving around in our rental, without purpose or meaning, we stumbled upon this beautiful temple. Cherng Talay Temple (North Temple according to my info), is one of 5 main temples in Phuket (there's, logically enough a north, south, east, and west temple and the last one is called the central temple). These temples are definitely worth a visit. There is not a lot of info around and it's not made into a tourist attraction, but so much more intimate is the feeling when walking around on this holy ground.
