Blandness in Wendover, Utah

Even the color version of this image was bland, mostly due to the weather.

The wind over Wendover will wend its way east before it dies.

Did the wind over Utah ever die down?

We travel the same roads, I was just there a few weeks ago!

To the un-trained eye this would be bland but I like it, Dave.

The contrast between this industrial scene and the brightly-lit, very colorful casinos a mile away is stark. Every community has sights like this. Wendover is set in a desolate landscape, but for me that is part of the attraction.

I get a kick out of your photos of Wendover. Seems quite desolate there. This B&W does it justice. Looks like a good place to be from. Reminds me of Santa Rio in the Outlaw Josey Wales.
