John, I gazed upon this scene for seven hours without let-up. I wore my standard Class Three observing goggles with shatterproof lenses. Most stacks emitted nothing. A couple emitted either a colorless gas or a slightly-colored gas---both in small quantities. There was no noise associated with those emissions. I saw and heard nothing that would be obviously associated with a launch. Can you spare some time away from the annuals to put in a few night shifts here---in the interest of saving mankind?
