Shape like a heart, Pandan Island is completely surrounded with powder like white coral sand. Legend says that the island was supposed to be named the Pendant Island because it is shaped like a necklace pendant. But the locals couldn't pronounced pendant properly so it became pandan which is also local weed / flora that thrives around the island.
