On one of our trips to Egypt, we had a 4 day cruise on Lake Nasser to see the temples raised when the High Dam was built in the mid 1960's.
Our beautiful ship, the M.S. Eugenie docked at Abu Simbel just in front of the Ramses II temple.
This image was taken at dawn just as the sun hit the front of the temple.
