08022007 Cat Strategy - part one revealed...

It's been snowing steadily today but disappointingly not much of the white stuff has settled on the ground. But it's cold, slippery and wet outside so I've spent most of this afternoon sitting on the back of the sofa staring out of the window and thinking about cats. So today's photo was taken yesterday. Now I'm ready to reveal the first part of my new, can't-fail strategy for gaining RESPECT from CATS! Are you ready, Poochfriends?!
.
Right. Here we go!
.
The first thing to say is that this is all about RESPECT. This isn't about weapons, or even biting. It's just about getting the respect we deserve. The way I see it, some humans have cats instead of pooches, which means that there are always going to be some cats about in the neighbourhood. Us pooches have therefore got to accept that cats live here too... as long as there's RESPECT!
.
Now part one of the strategy involves DISGUISES and SPYING ON CATS. Any volunteers?? ;-)

Beautiful shadows in this shot.
I like a big nose and glasses as a disquise. Maybe pooch just needs the glasses;-)

I like the big shadow that you must jump over to get to the curve in the road. Yes, cats need a lot of respect.

Hi ya pooch. Beautiful scene with you in this shot. I read Abby part 1 of your cat strategy and she is meditating on this great idea. :-) She's tired as she has had to be patroling the driveway since yesterday. :)

We'll have to wait until we take delivery of our new little pup so you can pass
all this info on! That's a gorgeous spot you're posing in today, love that tree shadow
and russet (oaks?) colours!

Great idea, anybody got a panther suit in Springador size?

We only have cats to give the dogs something to play with in our house...
I volunteer Willow as bait for your experiment...she doesn't give anyone respect, so she might be an excellent candidate for reform...:)

Sally has tons of RESPECT from all but one horrible MOGGY he hisses and stands his ground.
I am afraid respect cuts both ways. BTW Sally has been out playing, very little snow but very cold.

Pooch, for 3 years I have lived in a neighborhood that had 0 cats. That is until recently. My Rex is more tham eager to go out and chase them away. I just wish that he could stop them from coming around in the first place.

LOL, brilliant Pooch! Your Dad sure got a great shadow in your picture today. V

I've already had too much police attention recently so you wont find me sitting in bushes on cat watch ;-)
