Still cold, but hopefully a break this weekend...

Not a shot for pixel peepers, I have come to conclusion ASA 800 is not that usable.

Pixel peepers! You get my vote just for that. But I agree with those who point out the high ISO adds grain and texture so you would have my vote anyway. V

It looks perfectly useable for this shot - the noise in the shadows gives it a sort of mother of pearl look. I've come to the conclusion that a technically perfect shot can suck, and a technically lousy shot can be great - this is a very nice result!
