Thanks all. You must have this shot Flick? I've been in Oxford for years, but not got round to going up the tower. Just hit a nice light. The ascent is somewhat cramped - I'd hate to do it when the grockles really arrive! I was the last one there at 5.00 so peace descended.

funny. Must look like just the opposite during a rain. Great angle and the light/ dark is perfect for the title...

A great image Bruce and a perfect title!

love the dof - works perfectly for me as the sharpness, contrast and lighting of the subject are each the same number of 'notches' down in the background.

Excellent ! I keep looking at this one, and the shape / composition / subtitle work perfectly for me. A great picture, especially with the people below.

I just love this one Bruce! I've been meaning to leave a comment for awhile now. The people walking along below not hearing or wanting to hear this warning to save their souls is just so representative of our lives. People keep warning us what's good for us but we just don't want to hear it. It must have been great just being up there on the roof!

Thanks Charlie. I was there as the sun was getting low - lovely cold, clear winter day. Its a very simple shot, but seems to work,

Fantastic shot Bruce. What a great perspective and of course the people pull it all together.
Very nice
