rather than a vintage subject, i decided on a vintage treatment of a subject.
not sure how well i succeeded, but i did give it a shot :-)
tried to mimic that characteristic parabolic reflector effect here,
with a hint of backlight for a "classic 50's hollywood glam shot".

this young man is only 13 years old!
he came in for a portfolio session where we were trying to get not only a headshot,
but also 4 or 5 other images showing a diverse range of looks for him. was a 5 hour
session and i'm happy to say we got a very wide variety of looks for him. in some he
looked to be about 8 or so years old, and in others, like this one, he could pass
for an 18 year old.
