A traveling display
The following information was posted on the grounds for all to read:

"National Guard members comprise a larger percentage of frontline fighting forces in Iraq than in any war in US history. More than two thirds of the National Guard's 330,000 soldiers have now served in Iraq or Afghanistan.
Heavy reliance on these citizen soldiers for overseas operations represents a fundamental change from the Guard's planned role as a state-based milituia prepared to respond in local emergencies.
More than 350 Guard soldiers (77 Arizonans) have died in this war since March 2003.
By comparison, of the 58,209 U.S. deaths in Vietnam, 94 were Guardsmen, and none were killed in the Persian Gulf War."
