I'm glad, this is real good news.
Remember the dog Cookie? She was arrested in a Groningen city street three weeks ago because
the police believed she looked too much like an illegal pitbull terrier. The police said Cookie had to die.
Not!
After many protests and a 'second opinion' by a human dog breed expert,
the mayor of Groningen, who is also the top dog of Police, has decided Cookie is not an illegal dog after all...
She looks like a pitbull and she may have some pitbull blood, but officially she is not a pitbull,
the mayor has decided. He announced this news in a press conference.
Must have been the first time in his life he made a public announcement about a dog!

So Cookie is back with her human Gerrie.
