I used to take Leo to be a Pet a Pet volunteer, but he is not able to do that any more due to his health problems.
Today I took Teddy for his first visit and he got on very well, especially as it was all new and different to him.
The residents all love to have the dogs come and visit them, dogs are great conversation starters, and stroking them often helps to reduce blood pressure for example.
Teddy is 6 months old today!
He is panting so hard in the photo, showing his VERY long tongue, as it was the end of our hour of 'work' and the room was extremely warm as that is how the elderly people prefer it.
