Thanks a lot, Dale, for stating your opinion. It seems there is a consensus coming up on which of my three is most attractive... — db.

Bottles comments are spot on. Definately the best of the series for all the stated reasons. Thanks for sharing a great composition.

I had decided this was my favorite of the three and then read bottles comments ;-)) I like the way you can just follow through the image and on down the street. You did a great job of capturing the feeling of the "sandwiched" street. The color and clarity of the houses is great. Nicely done, Daniel.

Many thanks, bottles: it’s always interesting to read your reasoning(s) behind the preference for one or the other image! — db.

Daniel, I like all three entries; they're all interesting scenes that have been well captured. For some reason (not completely sure why), I think this one might be my favorite. Some of the things I really like about this shot are: the cobblestone walk that guides me into the scene, the colors of the buildings, and that lamp silhouetted against a beautiful sky. To me, the lamp not only adds interest to the image but serves to enhance the depth perception of the viewer. Very nice capture indeed!

Now that would exactly be the interesting thing for me: to know who prefers which of the series, and why?? Thanks for your comment, tcoen! — db.

Another great shot in this series. Of the three I can't decide which is my favourite. The church one is interesting because of how it stops abruptly at the church. Where as this one gently leads us off into the distance. Super. tcoen
