M42 Great Nebula in Orion

El Cerrito, CA

Image consists of 30 minuntes luminance, 5min red, 5min green, and 7.5 blue.
Each subexposure was 30 seconds in duration. This is to be the short exposure
portion of a longer exposure M42. This one brings out the Trapezium, which gets
burnt out in longer exposures. I was surprised the image came out as well as it
did, given shortness of sub-exposures.

SXV-H9 CCD, guded w/STV,AP 130 F/4.5
