Beautiful shot. This is a darker morf Red Tailed Hawk. You have a great shot of a Red Shouldered Hawk in IMG_0901r_720.jpg . Notice the difference in the eyes. Also the Red Shouldered Hawk has a red and white horizontal barred chest, where the Red Tailed Hawk almost always has a darker belly band as this one does. It is easy to confuse Raptors as there are so many morphs and Juvenile to Adult plumage also varies. You have some really nice shots here. Thanks for a great gallery.
