A noble's tomb on the West Bank of the Nile at Aswan, robbed in antiquity, but still displaying brilliant color in the painting at the end of the corridor.
The vaulted corridor is carved from living rock. The next image shows some of the partially painted relief sculpture of images of the deceased
that were to serve as resting places for his "ba" or spirit, in the hereafter and forever, should his mummy be lost.
