I believe both have all in common. Picture either is figurative or abstract. Like music.
Coltrane,Surman,Coleman, Mingus are abstract composers, harmony, "the story" is not all, as a picture could be color and shapes, without a title.
I look at your picture and in my mind I listen the polish Tomasz Stanko.
