Neat idea, love the bokeh.

Where was this picture during the bokeh challenge? -- Victor

Great shot, Gayle! The colors are nice and the DOF makes that second cat look a bit demonic :-) I agree with you, the challenges do tend to inspire us to photograph things we do not always take notice of. Markjay

Well captured Gayle, at ISO1600 this is an excellent capture. You obviously have a steady hand and your cute models must have been in a very patient mood? ~ Regards Bob

I love this photo, Gayle. I is amazing how you have managed to align them, so that they look as copies of the same cat. The difficulties of herding cats are proverbial.

Sam, I think I'm more like a "slave to the cat royalty". Nothing is too good for them and they've come to expect the best things in life.
Lonnit, if it weren't for the challenge I probably wouldn't have even bothered taking this pic.....I have about 20gb's of photos of one brown cat, it was a nice change to get both in the frame.
Not sure about my brown baby being "demonic" LOL! She doesn't look like it to me, but that might be cos I know her and she is far from demonic....she is very, very sweet.

Bruce, "a cat owner" has been replaced in the politically correct world with "a feline guardian" ;)
Well, The cats, to me and my daughter sitting next to me, are cute; so the image works well and has been approved by the young lady. lol. Sam Attal.

Nice. Yeah, that second cat looks a little demonic . . . but then that's cats for you (easy . . . I am a cat owner; I speak from experience). I wonder if the repetition wouldn't be enhanced with a greater DOF. Please get the cats to assume the pose and shoot over LOL! -- Bruce

Beautiful cats! I'm wondering if you cloned out the bright white spots in the back cat's eyes if it would make this less freaky and still as interesting? Just a thought. Ann C

Very nice Gayle. Seems I agree with Lonnit that it is a great image for this topic, but for me anyway; the second cat is distorted in a little too freaky a way to be pleasing otherwise. Then again, sometimes unsettling is good :-)

For the challenge, it works. Unchallenged, I'd prefer it with the second cropped out. ~ Lonnit

Excellent!
