Timberline Lodge built as a work project during the 1930s depression with Mt Hood behind.


I have seen pictures of both but could not figure out where they were taken until about a week ago when cross country skiing and a friend said that would make a good shot. (Except it was cloudy that day) This is from below the parking lot on one of the downhill runs. I cropped out the tow system that was below the parking lot. The sunset was turning Mt Hood into a nice golden white, this shot was not quite like being there.
