When I first moved to San Francisco I lived in a $500 a month studio apartment on Chestnut St. There was a young woman living upstairs who would go out to clubs and then come home at 3 am, drunk and loud, and wake me up. I tried all sorts of ways to deal with it, and nothing changed. Finally I flipped out and kicked her door down. She called the cops and I was arrested. The next night she came home again and woke me up....but this time I grabbed my camera gear, jumped in my VW, and drove up to Mt. Tamalpais to shoot some early morning photos. This is one of them.
