8th - The Shade

Dallas, TX.

This is a simple lampshade that sits in our apartment. I used the macro
feature of my Powershot G7 and snapped this photo. I then used a
lab color/curves technique in Photoshop I picked up somewhere. It really
worked with the tones in this photo. Kind of boring but it looks like a painting.

This is the lamp I bought and gave to you when you moved out. Looks really pretty in this picture. I always loved the leaf design and texture of the shade. Glad you like it too.

Looks like a damn cave painting or something...maybe even an extent plant that was imprinted onto a rock over time...great work here....one of my favs thus far.
