Very emotive. I agree that caging such a animal is cruel. I refuse to go to zoo’s and have caged birds. Although there is a educational value to zoo’s, as most children would never see any animals otherwise. I even feel guilty about the goldfish pond. Collin

we visited our local zoo on the 2nd of Jan and took a few very nice images but this one stood out. The monkey was behind a pane of glass and as we stood looking at him he just stared forlornly into the camera. A solitary existance in a zoo is no place for such a magnificent animal.
