2007-01-06.jpg

As the weather seems to be cooporating I will continue the winter theme. With a clear night the temperature dropped below 10 degrees and a nice frost covered the landscape. I wanted to get more images but had to change my plans as the battery in my car died after taking this image. I called for help and needed to buy a battery once I got back to town. The sun is shinning brightly and looks like a nice weekend.

You have a great gallery! The iced tree with the sunrise does emphasize the chilly weather.

We flew over Colorado two weeks ago, saw a lot of this. Glad that it resulted in such an excellent shot. I like the horizon in this picture.

Very nice, Monte. Look at how smooth that surface is. Stay prepared in this weather!

Lucky you having such a nice winter. Not any hope for winter in Europe in January :(
