I know you are thinking, "oh, gosh, another sunrise. Does this guy have a life?" Well, as part of my quest to photograph interesting things, I shot this one this morning. There was a fog bank moving in, and it was visually quite striking. So, I got out the trusty old S70 and put it on the tripod. This was a 5 second exposure. A little tweaking in CS2 brought out a sort of faux crimson color that made it look interesting, if nothing else. In the foreground are some taxiway and runway lights at LaPorte.

Very observant, Dianne. Actually it is a reflection from the Ellington Field coronal discharge thruster test stand. You can see by the nearly white color of it that they were operating near the upper limit of the engine's thrust curve. If you can keep a secret, here is some more information:http://www.pbase.com/johncrossphotography/image/74301369
