Looking back, this was a fantastic experience. I never thought I'd travel on an organized cruise, but Holland America did a great job with the logistics and their service was top-notch. When I go back to Alaska, I'll travel independently so that I can spend a full day shooting one image if I want to, but the cruise was a great way to be introduced to a huge and complicated land.
