Lindisfarne Castle- 0044

Lindisfarne Castle is built on an outcrop of rock known as Beblowe Crag. The Tudor fort was built to safeguard a harbour that sheltered English ships at war with Scotland.

This is getting repetitive.Another unusual angle on a very much photographed site.Pity the sky was a bit bland,but you can't have everything.Still very good.
