Sure that's really a II W.W. military car body? Of course, lookin' at the olive drab overall paint it would be quite probable, but the colour doesn't appear as weathered and worn as it should be, even under such dry skies, in optimal weather conditions, except fot the sun: its effects are well visible on the upper parts of the metal skeleton... Except that, truly cool, a real piece of art, so sharp but so "symbolistique" as well. Davvero fico, bravo!!! (Massimo mutismo se mi assicuri che è un relitto di guerra di 60 anni fa', probabilmente un mezzo degli Alleati?)

I bought my Canon A630 just over a year ago. Later, when I discovered your Gilf Kebir website I was amazed at the clarity and sharpness of these photos and that you had managed to get such splendid results with such a small and unpretensious camera. Even allowing for the extreme desert dryness and apparent lack of pollution they are wonderfully sharp! So I often visit this site to remind myself of what is possible with the A630. Thanks & Congratulations.
