Unlike Canada, Norway, Germany and most of the former Russian republics which have permanent Christmas permits, warm weather areas (Florida, South Carolina, the Equador, etc -- any place where palm trees grow wild, basically) must go through a yearly Christmas permitting process. This year our governor remembered so we were able to celebrate. K1 does blend in nicely, doesn't she? Thanks for looking and commenting.
It seems strange to see Christmas lights associated with palm trees. We forget that the holidays celebration is not only in cold countries.
