In New Delhi, Steven and I stayed in the same apartment. This early morning when I woke up, I found Steven reading the Bible and The Daily Bread. He said he does this daily in his morning quiet time. He had only attained Secondary School Level Two education because he dropped out of school when he mixed with bad company. He started smoking at the age of twelve and was into drugs by the age of fourteen. Steven had been in and out of prison several times. He brought so much shame and distress to his family that his family decided to disown him. They took away the keys to his home so that he would not come back and bother them anymore.
