Bobby or Robert Ian Isfeld was given the middle name of Ian after Aviator Ian Innes -Taylor. Ian Innes-Taylor married Sigurjon's daughter Aurora.
Allan was named after Aviator Explorer Alan Innes-Taylor. When Alan Innes-Taylor heard the news of the Isfeld baby being named after him he sent Allan a tin cup as a gift with Alan with only one L inscribed on it. Ian's brother Allan Innes-Taylor ordered the dogs for the Byrd Expedition to the south pole in 1933.
The two Innes-Taylor brothers were pioneers in Aviation and Polar Exploration.
