New Bern Waterfront

Driving home the last two nights I was is awe of the beautiful full moon. Tonight I decided it was way past time to go out and play in the dark and take advantage of the moonlight. When I look at this, I realize why I fell in love with New Bern 5 years ago. If it wasn't for this town, I wouldn't be here. I hope it appears as peaceful to you as it does to me. Every night when I come home, this is the view as I cross the bridge on my way home. Regardless how bad the day has been, all my worries melt away when I see this view.

Hello!~

This is a VERY long shot question, but I am on a deadline. I was asked to design a display board that will be used to educate the public on what the New Bern 300th Anniversary is all about. The display will incorporate several photos of the New Bern area. I already have 11 images, from various sources. The 12th one is to be a shot of New Bern at night. Your photo of the New Bern Waterfront, above, is perfect. Would it be possible for us to use it (this one time) on the display board. The board will be on exhibit for 2 days only at MUMfest. That starts tomorrow. Yep! I am AGAINST A HUGE DEADLINE. Please let me know something before 3PM today. 10-8-08. Thanks!

There's no place like home, especially in New Bern!
Beautifully captured, Ron.
