Thanks, Mike. We did enjoy the show. My wife is an avid figure-skating fan and we had ice-level seats for this one. Problem was: the spotlighting was at the other end of the arena so the performers were all backlit. I tried my F32X flash to no avail, and finally settled for very slow shutter speeds at ISO800. This was one of only 2 or 3 keepers I got all night :(
This is a fun, Jerry. Well composed. I really like the brightly-colored hair and costumes... and the way the couple are holding hands. I think the spotlighting, shadow casts, and dark background really enhance the scene. Nice capture and presentation. Did you enjoy the show? MFC
