My mum worked at that Security Pacific National Bank. I remember walking home from Arroyo Seco and stopping to get 15 cents for a triple scoop ice cream at Thrifty's! My mum used to say, "Melodie. you can't have 15 cents all the tiem. Do you think money grows on trees?"
