Graphics Challenge #62. This week's theme is Forensic Reconstruction. We bring
you a CSI challenge this week, with an unidentified person. Your task as forensic
artist, is to give this person a face. The idea is to put a face with the starting
image as a base. It could be a challenge, so have fun as you try your best.
We have supplied two skulls as starting images.
When Misha (one of the other frequent posters to about.com graphic challenges)
mentioned that one of the two starting skulls supplied for our use was a fake skull,
I immediately knew who the fake skull belonged to! Frankenstein's monster
from the movie Young Frankenstein. ;-D
I used an image of Young Frankenstein's monster (Peter Boyle), and because the
picture I chose did not show the monster's zipper neck, I added a zipper pull and
zipper teeth to the image. Then I put the image of the monster on top of the fake
skull (on it's own layer) and positioned it so it was approximately the same angle and
size as the skull, then I lowered the opacity so you could see a tiny little bit of the
skull under the image.
