Now the grey days have arrived here in the UK I aim to brush up on the photo editing.
If I can get half my shots as good as yours , Im doing something right. Oh and yes they were small oaks on thr south west coastal path. Must post some more.

Perhaps you & Dick need some time out & about.. Howz about some sweeet shots of your motor scooter? :-D Besides, enjoy the few days off ~ You're entitled!
Guest 16-Nov-2006 18:05
That's how I feel this month, too many wet, dull gray days.
Guest 16-Nov-2006 16:05
I'm sure the blahs will pass. I agree with some of the others in that a new toy is always fun. Perhaps a LensBaby so you can play with selective focus.

Or maybe just take a few days off and don't even look at a photo.

Been there, done that..OFTEN! I agree w/Sandy, it's toytime!
Guest 16-Nov-2006 03:14

You've done enough in the past months to coast for a few days. It will hit.
s_barbour16-Nov-2006 00:09
What you need is a new toy, I always get so inspired by a new lens, or filter...
Guest 15-Nov-2006 23:53
Yep, know that feeling will...
Richard Vance15-Nov-2006 22:48
You need to send the D2X to Nikon.....I've never seen so many hot pixels!!! LOL!
What you need is a good case of "Buck Fever" to liven you up. Maybe they'll come out and play soon.
Dick:)

Hello Buz , know that feeling , Sell the camera and take up lace making or welly throwing

Just a joke ! We will miss your fantastic shots.
Guest 15-Nov-2006 22:41
Origional Image Buz lol. But yeah hope you find the inspiration soon.
Guest 15-Nov-2006 21:32
What's wrong Buz? A day that was too rainy for a hike? Or a day where you wanted to hike without the camera? In both cases, I am waiting for your next smoky montains shot!
Guest 15-Nov-2006 20:57
How about a mountain vista? j/k As many amazing shots as you produce a day off is well deserved!
Guest 15-Nov-2006 20:49
UNDERSTOOD!!
Guest 15-Nov-2006 20:44
Go to the local florist or even a super market and buy one flower.
Put it in a vase and place it in various windows to try different light
If you have a gooseneck halogen light try using that.
Get a piece of muslin or satin and try various backgrounds
if you have an old wooden shutter try shining a light through that to kight the flower
try a couple of small mirrors to chage the angles
try shooting through a magnifying glass
Hmmmm... maybe I will try some of these ideas

Have a great day, Buz

Bob Foisel15-Nov-2006 19:00
I think I've got the answer, yesterday sold a tamron 28-75mm F2.8 and got a 17-40 F4L to use a my basic walk around type lens, "if there is such thing" Now I just have to get out and walk around to try it out. Come out and join me, bring a jacket it's chilly. LOL
Nicki Thurgar15-Nov-2006 18:28
