We are stay in the exact same room on a cruise to Mexican Rivera in January. How was your room/balcony on the back end of the ship. Noise / view / size of room / size of balcony?

I couldn't foresee any extra noise for deck 7 cabins along the sides where the lifeboats are. The boats may partially impede downward views at the sea, but you have clear views out. As for noise, there aren't really any noisy sections on deck 6 below - so I don't think it would be a problem.

We are traveling with our family on the Radiance 12/31/2006. We are starying on the 7th deck in a balcony cabin. We have mixed emotions because we heard the life boats made the view not so great and that it was noisy because the are just below the cabins. I would appreciate your comments on the subject. Thanks in advance.
