This is my Binder Design Excel Plus, loaded with an AT I211W-M. The rocket is built entirely with Elmer's Pro Bond wood glue, with the exception of the JB Weld used on the Aeropack motor retainer and ACME conformal rail guides.

The kit is built per the instructions, with the exception of the recommended adhesive (as noted above), with the following upgrades: 2 ACME conformal rail guides and one delrin rail button replace the 1/2" launch lugs, custom machined aluminum ablative plate on the aft end of the airframe, 38mm Aeropack motor retainer, Giant Leap Kevlar/Nomex shock cord protector sleeve, 48" Top Flight spherical chute, Binder Design plastic rivets for nosecone retention to the payload bay.

Decals, including the chrome strip, are kit provided. Plywood fins are finished with Folk Art aerosol sanding sealer. All painting is with Krylon "rattle can" sprays. Lower half is "gloss white." Payload/nose cone is "gloss burgundy."

RockSim predicted altitude on this successful flight is 3100' AGL. No electronics were on board for this flight. The rocket was successfully recovered in the center of the bean field to the east of the launch site.
