The 6-foot, 1,500-pound bronze angel that sits atop Francis Haserot's grave in section 9 of Cleveland's Lakeview Cemetary is one of the most stunningly beautiful pieces of cemetary artwork you'll ever see.

The angel sits atop her granite base, wings unfurled, her arms straight in front, holding a torch.

Years outside - Haserot died in 1938 - have taken their toll on the angel's beauty, which has decomposed into something more sinister. Steaks of black now pour down her face.
