What is it? It is....a beauty!

I like the color and sharpness in this, I don't know what kind of plant it is either.
Rich Westfall26-Oct-2006 02:50
Cool shot, but I don't know what it is. I am seriously deficient in the plant knowledge as well.

Very nice shot...!
Neal Nye25-Oct-2006 12:12
I think the question should be, "What WAS it?" LOL What it is is pristine and quiet and crystal clear and very, very pleasing.
Guest 25-Oct-2006 12:07
I'm thinking either chickweed or an aster. Love the tone and composition. Just enough of the mill pond in the BG to give us a setting. V.

I don't know if you have them in the US but I'd suggest this might be some kind of hawkweed. nice detail and colour.
Nicki Thurgar25-Oct-2006 08:44
LOL, I like those fluffy bits, love the tones too!

I don't know what it is, but we have some too. Nice shot. I like the tones and detail. vote.

It is "almost" a dandelion ;-)
Nice toning.
Guest 25-Oct-2006 03:58
It's not a dandelion. I'm guessing some kind of aster or sunflower but it's hard to tell without a leaf. But its a great shot in any event.
