Yes, I do use the Blue Sky setting sometimes to enhance the color of the sky. I would usually set the Sharpness in SilkyPix to Pure Details and use Photoshop CS2's Smart Sharpen after carrying out other post-processing adjustments like levels, shadow/highlight, curves, color corrections, etc.

Thanks Steve. Truly beautiful pics! I have actually gone away and sold my Canon gear to buy the L1. So far, it is great!

May I ask what workflow do you use to process the images? Raw -> Silkypix (use Blue sky etc). Any additional sharpening?

Hi David, I shot all in RAW and used a polariser. The skies actually appeared bluer in the photos than they really were in real life. Could be something to do with the altitudes of the places which were mainly between 2,500 to 3,700m above sea level.

Very beautiful scenary and your pics from the panasonic L1 is amazing! Did you shoot RAW? How did you manage to get the sky so blue for your pics?
