October 23, 2006 - Last Gasp for Flowers

Cold and breezy today, with temps in the 40's. Expecting another killer frost tonight, which will probably do in the last of the flowers. So I shot what I could find today, and these were still blooming to beat the band. I love their tenacity, and the beautiful red petals.

The flowers a tenacious and beautiful. We are expecting the temperature to dip into the upper 40F's tonight in Florida.
